I don't get F*cebook or Twitt*r

Okay so don't get all offended and F*cebook something mean about me, this is just  my take on the whole F*cebook craze. I mean I am one of the only people left in my family that doesn't have a F*cebook- what am  I missing? My wonderful wife has a FB page and she posts our children's pictures and things like that on there, I get that. Then there are others that I see that post things like "How Great is our God" and "Amazing Grace" and "I love Jesus".I get 'Glorify God in all you do' I get that. But what I don't get is the post like "going to the store" and  " sitting on the couch watching tv " really?  you need to tell the world these types of things? I don't get it -are you that vain to think that people want to know you are going to the store? I mean that is useless information.Sorry I am not trying to be mean I don't get it. Just send a text. Then there are the people who are marketing themselves as politicians, actors, and rock stars, we already know they are vain and yet we follow them as if they deserve it, shocking they they don't.Then there are the young people and elderly  that are scammed and preyed upon. So there is good and there is bad and just plain annoying on these "social networks"  but  I just can't see posting about what I had for dinner as being interesting or valuable information.......
